Welcome to Vipers Lacrosse - 2024/25 Registration

CONTINUING THIS YEAR - PLEASE READ

In an attempt to simplify the process we are moving to a single registration that includes Fall Ball and Spring Registration in one (for High School players).  This will allow families to register once and be done.  It also provides enough headroom for payment plans that span multiple months.  This is particularly convenient for families with multiple players or those of us that would like to space out the registration fees instead of paying one lump sum. 

 

Youth will register for Spring below.

 

We have three options for High School Registration Dues:

  • Pay in Full
  • Pay over 4 months
  • Pay over 6 months
  • Pay over 8 months

 

**It is important to note that all spirit wear, required team equipment ( HS only: helmet, bag), Booster Club Membership, spirit gear, your volunteer deposit and any donations that you make are DUE IN FULL at the time of registration and will NOT be a part of the payment plan.

ONLINE REGISTRATION

Vipers Lacrosse uses Sports Engine for communication and scheduling.  If you are not a previous user, a new account will need to be created in the parent or guardian's name.  

 

 

Youth Spring Season - Our spring season is for all Vipers 1st-8th grade. It will start at the end of January/beginning of February and run through April. Club lacrosse takes a rest during this time so all players can play with their school programs.  Spring season is our main season and will include weekly practices and games.  Practices pick up in February and games usually start weekly after Spring Break.

  • 1st/2nd - $160
  • 3rd/4th - $310
  • 5th-8th - $550

 

High School Fall Ball - $400 / $200  for Varsity Football Players joining after end of season.  The full $200 will be refunded if Varsity football goes all the way and the boys are unable to play end of Nov/December.

Fall Ball is required for all Vipers Lacrosse Players with the exception of Varsity football players.  We will offer a late add reduced rate Fall Ball Option for Varsity football players who plan to join after their playoffs/state run has ended.  In order to play in the UT Longhorn Shoot you must be a registered and paid Fall Ball player.

  • (Potentially more coaches as volunteers) 

Registration includes:

  • 10 weeks of practice
  • Fall Reversible Jersey
  • Scrimmage practice @ Anderson HS November 12th
  • Longhorn Shootout Tournament
  • Fall Events: Homecoming Parade, HOCO Tailgate, Halloween Stick Switch Game & Frosty Flowdown

Practices:

  • Practices will begin the week of Monday September 30th and go through the week ending of December 12th
  • We are off the week of November 24th - 30th (Thanksgiving) 
  • Practices will be limited to no more then 2 per week. (20 total practices this fall)
  • We will be participating in the Longhorn shootout tournament December 7th & 8th
  • Frosty Flowdown will be our final get together in December before the spring season starts - there is possibly of this being the Alumni Game

 

High School Spring Season - $2550

Registration Includes:

  • Player Uniform Package
    • Game day polo (NEW THIS YEAR)
    • Game Day Sweats (NEW THIS YEAR, previously required purchase)
    • Custom Gloves
  • 1 player ticket to end of year banquet (NEW THIS YEAR)
  • Spring Events: Team building outing, club wide family event, end of season banquet.
  • Coaches salaries, field rentals, tournament entry fees, game officials, equipment purchases (Goals, nets, sideline medical supplies)

Additional Costs outside of registration:  

  • Helmets:  All incoming freshmen are required to buy a helmet.  We are on a TWO YEAR rotation on all helmets, so every two years we require everyone to buy a new helmet.  This keeps our childrens heads safe and makes sure that everyone is in a certified helmet per our insurance requirements.  THIS IS A HELMET YEAR - 2025 Season.  ALL TEAM MEMBERS WILL BUY A HELMET THIS YEAR, NOT JUST FRESHSMEN.  Next Helmet year will be Spring 2027.
  • Team Bags:  All incoming freshman or new to Vipers high school players are required to buy a team bag.  This will be added during check out.
  • Varsity Banners: Once teams are rostered. we will collect from all parents for Varsity Banners. Approx cost is $55.
  • Travel: We have removed the travel fee.  There is no way for us to accurately estimate travel costs for the season before we set the schedule and determine how many weekend trips we will have.  Parents will be responsible for paying for the travel costs incurred. Fundraising can offset this. THE MORE WE DO THE LESS WE PAY. We need everyone to help with these efforts.

 

Player Uniform Package:

  • Nike Uniform package will be ordered and distributed prior to the start of the Spring Season
  • Includes: Black Uniform (Jersey and shorts), White Uniform (jersey and shorts), 2 shooter shirts, Team sweats for game day, Polo, reversible practice pinnie, gloves
  • SIZES for all practice apparel will be required to complete player registration
  • Practice apparel belongs to the player at the conclusion of the Spring season
  • Cost of uniform and practice apparel included in Registration cost

 

Spring Schedule:

- We will begin practice the week of Monday January 20th

- Aggieland Classic and other scrimmages to start the season are TBD

- Schedule structure is TBD until the THSLL meeting to finalize conferences / divisions 

- Playoffs will be the same as every year (Late April into early May)

US Lacrosse Requirement

You must register first with US Lacrosse and then return to this Registration Session to signup.  If you have not already signed up with US Lacrosse, please follow these steps:
 

New US Lacrosse Members

  • IF YOU DO NOT HAVE A CURRENT US LACROSSE MEMBERSHIP:  CLICK HERE to go to US Lacrosse Registration and register your player(s). Be sure to PRINT and SAVE their confirmation code(s). Remember to register EACH of your players with US Lacrosse. Each player must have their own unique US Lacrosse confirmation number.
